Internet is growing; the steep increase of users and data poses great economic and social opportunities but it calls for the developments of Internet infrastructure both on the hardware side - building new platforms and systems able to process and manage huge numbers of data - and software side – creating new applications and services that enable a more complete and meaningful use of the web.
The TOP-IX Annual Conference aims to analyze the most promoting trends - e.g. Cloud Computing, Software as a Service (SaaS), Green computing - in order to foresee the best design to Internet development and to make plans and programs to finally take advantage of Internet growth.
