Bio: Andrea Gombac is currently responsible for the Presale team within Fastweb’s Executive Business Unit, looking after large enterprise customers and telco operators in the Italian market. Since 2006 Andrea represents Fastweb in TOP-IX Development Program.
Prior to this, Andrea spent nine years at Nortel Networks where he held various technical and managerial roles in innovative solutions engineering and market development for the Service Provider and Enterprise segments, completing his experience as Innovation and New Business Development Director within Nortel’s Vodafone Global Account Team.
Previously, he spent two years with Telecom Italia Labs (Telecom Italia R&D centre). Over this period, he was involved in various projects related to the evolution of Telecom Italia carrier infrastructure and participated to standardisation activities in ETSI (European Telecommunications Standards Institute).
Andrea Gombac graduated with Honours in Electronic Engineering at Politecnico di Torino.
